How to Make a Tiny Desk AI Video from Photos
Step by step: choose Solo, Duo or Trio, pick the right photos, make the “Outstanding” desk-concert video online with no app or login, and post it with the song.
Updated
You can put yourself, and up to two friends, into the “Outstanding” Tiny Desk meme without filming, editing or writing a prompt. Choose how many people, upload one clear photo per seat, pay once, and you get an about 15-second vertical video with the song already on.
What you need
- 1 to 3 photos, one adult per photo: you, and friends who agreed to be in the video.
- An email address for the private download link.
- A pack from $9.99. Solo, Duo and Trio cost the same. No account, no subscription.
You don’t need the original clip, a prompt, TikTok, CapCut or any app.
Step 1: Choose Solo, Duo or Trio
The video always has three shots: the band at the desk, the lead singer’s laughing close-up, and the sax solo. Each extra photo fills one more seat.
| Option | Photos | Who you replace |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | 1 | Lead singer (laughing close-up) |
| Duo | 2 | Lead singer + sax player (closing solo) |
| Trio | 3 | Lead singer + sax player + keyboard player (front row of the band shot) |
The order is fixed: photo 1 always sings lead, photo 2 always plays sax, photo 3 always plays keys. Put the person who should have the big laugh in seat 1. Not sure how many to pick? See Solo, Duo or Trio.
Step 2: Prepare the photos
Each photo is the only thing that tells the AI who sits in that seat, so it decides how recognizable the result is.
- One person per photo. Group shot? Crop it into one picture per friend; each crop must be sharp and larger than 300 pixels per side.
- Face clear and roughly toward the camera. No sunglasses, masks or hair over the eyes. The lead singer turns, laughs with the head back and waves a hand across the face, so a clear front view helps most.
- Waist-up. Shoulders and clothes should be visible; the keyboard and sax seats show the upper body.
- Even light, no heavy filters. Beauty filters and cartoon styles change the face the AI copies.
- Wear the outfit you want. Clothes come from each photo. The background does not: everyone ends up on the same bookshelf office stage.
Formats: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB each.
Step 3: Upload, confirm and pay
On the generator, pick Solo, Duo or Trio, add a photo to each seat and tick the box confirming the photos show you or adults who agreed (no celebrities, public figures or minors). Enter your email, choose a pack and continue to Stripe checkout.
The video starts as soon as payment is confirmed and keeps going if you close the tab. There is no fixed wait time because it depends on the queue. We email you when it’s ready.
Step 4: Check the result
Open your private order page and play the video with sound. Look at:
- The laugh close-up (about 5–11 s): does the lead singer still look like photo 1 when the head goes back?
- The sax solo (about 11–15 s, Duo and Trio): is photo 2 on sax, not swapped with someone else?
- The band shot (0–5 s, Trio): is photo 3 at the red keyboard?
Seats you didn’t fill and the two backing singers are AI-generated musicians; they can look a little different every time. If generation fails, the credit goes back to your order once and you can try again at no extra cost.
Step 5: Download and post
Download the MP4 within 30 days. It is 9:16, 720p, with no watermark, so it fits TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts as is. If a platform mutes the song, add the trending sound inside the app. Let the friends in your video know before you post.
Remaining credits in your pack stay on the same order link: come back with new photos, or switch from Solo to Trio, without paying again.
